Dionisos Sturis, a Polish reporter, is looking for answers to questions about the crisis in the country of his ancestors. Moreover, the author is seeking some meaning in his life. He tries to confront his fears, his own past.

If you ask me, the book gives you more than it promises to give. It is full of Greek flavours and aromas; songs and dances. It even contains a bitter orange jam recipe!
